Home & Auto Tracker LLC (“Home & Auto Tracker,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you use our website, mobile applications, maintenance tools, business directory, professional profiles, communications, subscriptions, and related services collectively referred to as the “Platform.”
This Policy applies to homeowners; vehicle owners; professional users; contractors; handymen; mechanics; auto repair shops; other home and vehicle service businesses; website visitors; and other individuals who interact with us.
By using the Platform, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you use the Platform.
A. Account and Contact Information
- Name;
- Email address;
- Telephone number;
- Mailing address;
- Username;
- Password or authentication credentials;
- Communication preferences; and
- Account-verification information.
B. Home and Property Information
If you create a home profile, we may collect property address; property type; approximate age or year built; systems, appliances, fixtures, and equipment; maintenance schedules; repair history; contractor information; project details; photographs; receipts; estimates; invoices; manuals; warranties; and notes you choose to provide.
Do not upload deeds, loan documents, alarm codes, access codes, Social Security numbers, banking information, or other sensitive information unless a specific Platform feature expressly requests it.
C. Vehicle Information
If you create a vehicle profile, we may collect make; model; year; trim; mileage; vehicle identification number if you choose to provide it; license-plate information if you choose to provide it; maintenance schedule; repair and service history; mechanic or repair-shop information; receipts; estimates; invoices; warranties; photographs; and notes.
Providing a full vehicle identification number or license-plate number may not be necessary for most Platform features.
D. Professional and Business Information
We may collect information concerning professional businesses, including business name; owner, manager, or authorized representative; business address; service area; telephone number; email address; website; business description; service categories; hours; license or registration information; certifications; insurance or bonding information; photographs and logos; promotions; pricing information; profile claim and verification information; consumer inquiries; subscription information; and profile-performance information.
Some business information may be obtained from public sources before a business claims a listing.
E. Documents and User Content
We may collect content that you upload or submit, including reviews; ratings; messages; photographs; logos; receipts; estimates; invoices; warranties; manuals; maintenance records; service descriptions; comments; support requests; and other files or content.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have authority to upload information concerning another person.
F. Payment and Transaction Information
If you purchase a subscription or other paid service, we or our payment processor may collect name; billing address; payment method; transaction amount; transaction date; subscription type; renewal status; payment history; and limited payment-card information such as card type and last four digits.
Payments may be processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not intentionally store complete payment-card numbers or payment-card security codes on our own systems.
G. Communications
We may collect information when you contact customer support; submit a service inquiry; communicate with a professional; report a listing or review; respond to a survey; request account assistance; participate in a promotion; or communicate with us by email, telephone, text, or another method.
H. Device and Usage Information
We may automatically collect Internet Protocol address; browser type; device type; operating system; device identifiers; referring page; pages viewed; links clicked; features used; date and time of access; approximate location derived from an IP address; session information; error logs; performance information; and security events.
I. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use cookies, pixels, software-development kits, local storage, and similar technologies to keep users signed in; remember preferences; provide Platform functions; measure traffic; analyze usage; detect fraud; improve performance; understand marketing effectiveness; and maintain security.
You may be able to control certain cookies through your browser or through a cookie-preference tool when available. Disabling cookies may prevent some Platform features from working correctly.
J. Approximate or Precise Location
We may infer an approximate location from your IP address or use a city, ZIP code, service area, or address you provide. We will not collect precise mobile-device location unless a Platform feature requires it, we provide appropriate notice, and you grant device permission. You may withdraw device-location permission through your device settings.

- From publicly available websites;
- From data providers;
- From payment processors;
- From analytics and technology providers;
- From marketing partners;
- From social networks when you interact with us; and
- Automatically through the Platform.
Business listings may contain public professional or commercial information even when the business has not created an account.

- Connect consumers with professionals;

- Analyze Platform use;

Verify and Protect the Platform
- Verify accounts and business claims;

- Protect users and professionals; and

4. How We Disclose Information
We may disclose information in the circumstances described below.
A. Between Consumers and Professionals
When a consumer contacts a professional, we may disclose information necessary to facilitate the inquiry, such as consumer name; contact information; general service location; service requested; description of the issue; photographs or documents selected by the consumer; and preferred appointment or communication information.
Do not submit information you do not want sent to the selected professional. Professionals are responsible for their own use and protection of information received from consumers.
B. Public Profiles and User Content
Business profiles may be publicly visible. Depending on the feature, publicly visible information may include business name; address; telephone number; website; services; service area; license information; photographs; logo; description; promotions; ratings; and reviews. Reviews, profile photographs, usernames, and related content may also be public.
Do not post private personal information in a public field.
C. Service Providers
We may disclose information to vendors that help us provide services, such as cloud hosting; database storage; payment processing; email and text delivery; authentication; analytics; customer support; security; error monitoring; document storage; mapping; search; marketing; and professional advisers. Service providers are permitted to process information for the purposes of providing contracted services and as otherwise allowed by law.
D. Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law; respond to a subpoena, court order, or government request; protect life, health, safety, property, or legal rights; investigate fraud or unlawful conduct; enforce our Terms; protect the Platform; respond to an emergency; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
E. Business Transactions
Information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with financing; investment; merger; acquisition; reorganization; sale of assets; bankruptcy; due diligence; or a similar business transaction. Any recipient may use the information subject to applicable law and the privacy commitments communicated as part of the transaction.
F. With Your Direction or Consent
We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or provide consent.
5. Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
Home & Auto Tracker does not sell personal information for money. At the effective date of this Policy, we do not knowingly sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If our practices change, we will update this Policy and provide any notice, opt-out mechanism, or preference control required by applicable law. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.
6. Advertising and Analytics
We may use analytics services to understand how the Platform is used. These providers may collect device, browser, usage, and approximate-location information through cookies or similar technologies.
We may also measure whether marketing campaigns resulted in visits, registrations, or purchases. Before enabling targeted advertising or advertising-based data sharing, we will implement disclosures and consumer choices required by applicable law.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Platform; maintain your account; fulfill the purpose for which information was collected; comply with legal and accounting obligations; resolve disputes; enforce agreements; prevent fraud; protect security; and maintain legitimate business records.
Retention periods vary according to the type of information and the reason it was collected. Examples may include account information retained while the account remains active; maintenance records retained until deleted by the user or account; transaction records retained for tax and accounting requirements; security logs retained for a limited period; listing information retained while the business remains publicly operating; reviews retained while relevant to the Platform; and backup copies retained until overwritten according to backup schedules.
Deleting an account may not immediately remove information from backups, legal records, fraud-prevention systems, public listings, or information that another user submitted independently.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These measures may include access controls; authentication; encryption in transit; secure hosting; logging; monitoring; backups; vendor management; and employee or contractor access restrictions.
No internet transmission, storage system, or security measure is guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for selecting a strong password; protecting login credentials; signing out of shared devices; maintaining independent copies of important records; and notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.

9. Your Choices
Account Information
You may review or update certain information through your account settings.
Maintenance Reminders
You may modify or disable maintenance reminders through the Platform, subject to available settings.
Marketing Communications
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link provided in the message. You may continue receiving transactional communications concerning your account, payments, security, service inquiries, and important policy notices.
Cookies
You may manage browser cookies through browser settings or through our cookie-preference tool when available.
Device Permissions
You may manage location, camera, photograph, notification, and similar permissions through your device settings.
Public Content
You may request correction or deletion of certain content you submitted, subject to our recordkeeping, moderation, legal, and Platform-integrity needs.
10. California Privacy Rights
California residents may have rights under California privacy law, subject to applicability, definitions, exceptions, and verification requirements. Depending on the law that applies to Home & Auto Tracker at the time of a request, these rights may include the right to know whether we process personal information; the right to request categories of personal information collected; the right to request specific pieces of personal information; the right to learn the sources, purposes, and categories of recipients; the right to request deletion; the right to request correction; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; the right to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information; the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights; and the right to use an authorized agent.
Submitting a Request
Submit a request by emailing support@homeautotracker.com. Please describe the request and identify the account or information involved.
Verification
We may verify requests by asking for information that reasonably matches our records. We will not request more information than reasonably necessary. We may deny a request that cannot be verified or that is subject to a legal exception.
Authorized Agents
An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of authorization and may contact you directly to verify your identity and authority.
Appeals
Where required by applicable law, you may appeal a denied privacy request by contacting support@homeautotracker.com and stating that you are submitting a privacy appeal.
11. Sensitive Personal Information
Depending on what you choose to provide, the Platform may process information that could be considered sensitive, such as precise address information; account login credentials; vehicle-identification information; payment information processed by a payment provider; or contents of private communications.
We use sensitive information only for purposes reasonably necessary to provide, secure, and manage the Platform or for other purposes permitted by law. Do not upload unnecessary sensitive information.
12. Other State Privacy Rights
Residents of other states may have privacy rights under applicable state law. These may include rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of, or opt out of certain processing of personal information.
Submit requests to support@homeautotracker.com. We will evaluate requests according to the law applicable to the requester and Home & Auto Tracker.
13. Children’s Privacy
The Platform is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account unless we expressly introduce a parent-managed feature governed by separate terms and notices.
If we learn that we collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided personal information should contact support@homeautotracker.com.
14. Professional Users and Consumer Information
Professionals may receive consumer information through service inquiries. Professional users are independently responsible for using the information only for legitimate service-related purposes; protecting the information; restricting employee access; complying with applicable privacy and marketing laws; honoring communication preferences; deleting information when no longer needed; and avoiding resale or unrelated marketing use.
Home & Auto Tracker does not authorize professionals to sell consumer information or use it for unrelated solicitation.
15. Third-Party Websites and Services
The Platform may contain links to professional websites, government databases, maps, payment providers, social networks, and other third-party services. This Privacy Policy does not govern those third parties. Review their privacy policies before providing information. We are not responsible for third-party privacy, security, or data practices.
16. Business Listings From Public Sources
We may collect professional or commercial information from publicly available sources, including business websites; public directories; government licensing databases; public registration records; and other publicly available materials.
A business representative may request correction, claiming, review, or removal of certain listing information by contacting support@homeautotracker.com. We may retain information when necessary to maintain directory accuracy, prevent fraud, preserve reviews, comply with law, or protect Platform integrity.
17. Do Not Track and Preference Signals
Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” settings. Because there is not a universally accepted standard for all Do Not Track signals, the Platform may not respond to every such signal. Where required by applicable law, we will process legally recognized opt-out preference signals concerning the sale or sharing of personal information.
18. International Users
The Platform is operated from the United States. If you access it from another country, information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. The Platform is not presently intended to offer services in jurisdictions that require us to adopt separate international privacy terms unless we expressly state otherwise.
19. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect new features; changes in data practices; new vendors; business developments; security improvements; or legal requirements. We will update the “Last Updated” date when changes are made. For material changes, we may provide additional notice through the Platform, by email, or through another appropriate method.
